We will be putting up our Angel Treee on Sunday, November 27, 2011. Please plan to sponsor an angel from the tree. You can either purchase the gift or we can do tbat for you. We will be looking for volunteers to assist with putting the food baskets together on Monday, December 19, 2011. We also need volunteers to help deliver the presents and the food on Tuesday, December 20, 2011. If you can volunteer your time to this important event, please let Donna Kreider or Dotty Early know. We thank our members who have contributed to this event in the past. Because of you, this event is very successful and of course seeing the childrens smiling faces makes it all worthwhile.

Guests Must Join after 3 Visits into our Clubhouse: Attention Members, It is your responsibility, when entering our clubhouse with a guest, you must sign your guest in with the bartender. Failure to do so could reesult in disciplinary action for the member. All guests must be signed in. Please value your membership by signing in your guests. It is a PLCB rule that all guests must be signed in and the member must purchase alcohol for their guests. Please remember, guests are not permitted to purchase alcohol. The member must purchase alcohol for their guests. There is no exception to this rule. We gladly welcome our guests into our establishment. Guests must be accompanied by a member in good standing and must leave when the member leaves. After three visits, the guest must either join the club or they will not be able to come into the clubhouse after their third visit. This does not mean, three times with several different members. This means three times in total. This does not apply to guests who live outside a 50 mile radius of the club. They will still need to show identification, however the three visit rule does not apply, but they must also leave the clubhouse when the member who signed them in leaves.
All guests and the member will be required to show identification. The identification will be photocopied along with the members membership card. If the guest does not have proper identification on them, they will not be able to be signed in and will be asked to leave. Proper identification is a driver's license or another form of identification that will have their name and address on it. All of our member's and guest's must have proper identification on them at all times. An inappropriate form of ID is a grocery store card with just your name on it or any other ID that just displays your name. The identification must have the persons full name and address.
It is the members responsibility to ensure that the appropriate procedures are followed. When the member leaves, the guest must also leave. The member is responsible for the actions of their guests. If you bring a guest into our clubhouse, please remember that they "MUST" register with the employee on duty.
Ranges: I am sure many of our members who use our ranges have noticed a big difference in the way the ranges are being maintained. You can thank our Vice Presdient of the Home Association, Ollie Condran and our maintenance person Tony Eckenrode. Both Ollie & Tony have spent countless hours on the range as well as around the property ensuring that our building & grounds are being maintained. Please respect our building & grounds. If you have trash, please place it in the recepticles that are located throughout the property. If you like the way the ranges are looking these days, please leave them the same way you found them. Throw your spent casings in the trash, remove your targets before you leave. Think of the person who will be following you. I am sure you appreciate being able to show up and hang your targets and begin shooting but if you have to remove someone else's used targets and casings, you would not appreciate it so please keep that in mind while shooting on our ranges. Our ranges are for members only. A member may bring their son or daughter to the ranges, however, when they turn 18 threy must join as a junior member in order for them to enjoy using the ranges. This is a strict rule that we need to follow. We have over 1800 members and many of them join our club just for the privilege of using our ranges. Our ranges are patrolled on a regular basis. If you are asked to present your membership card, please do so proudly. There are not many ranges like ours in the area, therefore sometimes we get shooters on our ranges that are not members. If you cannot produce a card, you will be asked to leave. We have over 1,800 members and our ranges are used heavilly by our members. Please respect the other members and please respect your club! If any of our members should see someone destroying our prperty, please report this to the clubhouse. If you can obtain a license plate number that would be appreciated. If any of our members have any questions regarding our ranges, please send an email to anglershunters@comcast.net. We will be glad to have someone contact you with your questions.
We Appreciate Your Comments: If you have a concern or a question, please do not hesitate to contact us at anglershunters@comcast.net. We appreciate your feedback. In order for us to address your concerns we must have a name and email address to respond to. Sending anonymous emails are accepted however it is difficult to address your concerns if we do not know who you are. Your information will be kept confidential.
Attention Members - We value your privacy. You can trust that your membership information is not given to any other sources. We respect your right to privacy and the Middletown Anglers' & Hunters are very familiar with all the privacy laws and regulations. We recognize that your membership information contains PII (Personally Identifiable Information) and you can be assured your information is not shared or given to any other entities. Middletown Anglers & Hunters Association has been in operation for Seventy Three Years as of March 2010.
Our 70th year celebration is now behind us and the Middletown Anglers' & Hunters' would like to thank those that helped make the celebration a success. It was a month filled with surprises for those candidates that were lucky enough to win a prize. As we move forward, we look forward to our 75th Anniversary.
The original plans were to plan our next anniversary at our 80th anniversary but how could we let the 75th Anniversary go unoticed, therefore we will be planning another gala event for our 75th.
We are 5 months away to our 75th anniversary celebration. This will be a month long celebration and will be held in March 2012. If anyone is interested in participating on the team please see either Donna Kreider or Dotty Early.
If you would like to be involved with the planning of the 75th Anniversary celebration, please contact Dotty Early or Donna Kreider at 1-717-944-0760 or email us at anglershunters@comcast.net. Many of you have been there for our 60th Anniversary celebration and our 70th Anniversary celebration and we had a nice month long celebration of the event. We would like to do things a little different for the 75th Anniversary celebration and are looking for some new and innovative ideas to make this celebration a memorable event. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome and also if you would like to help plan for the event, please let us know. Also we are looking for suggestions for prize drawing and give a-ways. We look forward to your continued support and patronage.
